Looking for DTF printing in Auckland? Kiwi Crew provides custom direct-to-film printing for businesses, clothing brands, schools, teams and organisations wanting detailed, full-colour designs on apparel.
DTF printing is a versatile method for applying printed designs to suitable garments using a specialised heat-transfer process. It allows logos, graphics and multicolour artwork to be reproduced with clear detail and vibrant colours, making it a popular option for custom T-shirts, hoodies, workwear and promotional clothing.
Based in Silverdale, Auckland, Kiwi Crew supplies custom printed apparel to businesses and organisations throughout New Zealand.
Whether you're branding staff uniforms, creating merchandise or preparing clothing for an event, we'll help you choose suitable garments and printing options for your design.
DTF stands for direct-to-film printing. Instead of printing directly onto the garment, the design is printed onto a specialised film and then transferred onto suitable fabric using heat and pressure.
This process allows detailed, multicolour artwork to be applied to a range of compatible garments.
DTF printing is particularly useful for logos and designs containing several colours, fine details or artwork that would be difficult to reproduce using a simpler print method.
DTF printing offers several advantages for custom apparel:
The final result depends on the garment fabric, design dimensions, transfer specifications and application process. We'll assess your requirements before confirming the most suitable approach.
DTF is a popular choice for custom T-shirt printing when a design contains multiple colours or intricate details.
Use it to create:
Choose your preferred T-shirt style and colour, then provide your artwork and quantities for a tailored quote.
DTF printing can also be used on suitable hoodies, sweatshirts, selected jackets and other compatible apparel.
It's useful for businesses that want to apply detailed logos or larger graphics to their branded clothing.
For trade uniforms, promotional garments and company merchandise, we can help you select suitable clothing and decide where the design should be placed.
Not every fabric or garment finish is compatible with every transfer process. Special coatings, heat-sensitive materials and some technical fabrics require additional assessment before printing.
Not sure which printing method to choose?
DTF printing is often suitable for detailed artwork, multicolour logos and designs where flexibility is important.
Screen printing is often better suited to larger quantities of garments featuring bold designs with defined colours, where setup costs can be spread across the order.
The best option depends on your artwork, quantity, garment selection and budget.
